Scissor Excellence ("Site").
1. Business Information
Scissor Excellence is operated from Perth, Western Australia. All services and products are offered in accordance with Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
2. Products & Services
Every pair of scissors purchased includes a personal consultation to match your cutting style, technique, and edge.
Sharpening services are performed using specialist tools and techniques.
We reserve the right to refuse service for tools that are damaged beyond repair.
3. Delivery & Shipping
Where possible, scissors are hand-delivered within Perth metro.
Shipping is available for rural WA, interstate, and East Coast clients.
Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery.
You are responsible for providing correct delivery details.
4. Returns & Exchanges
7-Day Satisfaction Guarantee: You have 7 days from delivery to decide if your scissors are the right fit.
If they are not suitable, we will match you with another pair.
Items must be returned in original condition.
This guarantee does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
5. Warranty
All scissors are covered by a lifetime manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials or workmanship.
Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, or unauthorised repairs.
6. Consumer Guarantees (Australian Law)
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure.
You are entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
7. Payments
Payment must be made in full before delivery or service completion, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Prices are listed in AUD and include GST where applicable.
8. Liability
We take care in handling your scissors; however, we are not liable for pre-existing damage or wear.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scissor Excellence is not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version posted on this website at the time of your purchase will apply.
